How to add Meta Description to Blogger Blog

Meta description is one of the most important features for better SEO ,especially for Onpage. If you want to optimize your website or blog and get heighter rank in search engines , then you have to improve your Onpage SEO before concentrating in Link building or backlinks.

Meta description usually include meta tags (keywords) ,website description and title.
In wordpress we can do this directly in the backend or using a plugin (such as "Seo all in one").





But , probably  , most of us ask the question : how to add meta description to my blogger blog ? because there are no SEO plugins in blogger .

Actually , adding meta tags to blogger blog is very easy and similar to adding it to a static Html website , So , all you have to do is to :

1-Go to your blogger dashboard , choose template --> edit Html
2-Search for</body>
3-Just before it , copy and paste the code below :

Replace 'your description' by your blog description , 'Meta Keywords' by your blog Keywords and 'Name' by the name of the author (your name).

Tips :
-Keep the description of your blog between 70 to 160 words .
-Use the most important Keywords in the description.
-It's heightly recommended to keep the meta keywords in an acceptable number (from 10 to 15 maximum)
-Put the most important keyword at the begin of the list.
